Deine Mission

As part of our Systems Engineering team in Munich, Germany, you will take a central role in the design and coordination of our Dynamic Space Operations roadmap. The role is focused on the early concept phase: surveying the available solutions, deriving concepts, and performing trade-offs. We also offer the opportunity to convert the work into a Master’s thesis, with the exact topic tailored to the candidate’s interests and strengths.

Your role will include:

Detailed operational analysis of our systems, identifying stakeholders and their needs
Functional analysis, functional allocation and definition of the physical architecture
Organising and carrying out all the trade-offs necessary to the justification of the architecture
Derive system, subsystem and components functional performance requirements
Support the search for appropriate suppliers
Support the derivation of adequate development plans
Defining tests and analyses to ensure the product meets its requirements
Prepare documentation for the deliverables
Support with other relevant ad-hoc activities, as necessary

Dein Profil

Enrolled in a Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field
Hands-on experience working in student projects is an asset, especially student aerospace projects
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, especially the Capella Framework, is an asset
Fluent in English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an asset.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proactive, structured approach, and able to work independently as well as in a team
